The Serbian delegation will be in Brussels on Wednesday to try once again to reach agreement with Pristina on all issues related to the elections in Kosovo. The Serbian delegation will be led by Marko Djuric, an advisor to President Tomislav Nikolic, the Vecernje Novosti daily reported. Delegations to discuss issues related to elections The paper notes that only seven days are left before the local elections in Kosovo, scheduled for November 3, while major problems and obstruction from Pristina continue to mar the process. According to the article, disputes are still ongoing about the "appearance" of the ballot papers, unreviewed electoral rolls "full of names of the deceased," as well as about participation of Serbs in the work of the Central Election Commission, and the blocking of visits planned by Serbian officials. Marko Djuric noted that Pristina threatened to arrest the minister without portfolio in charge of Kosovo, Aleksandar Vulin, if he tried to enter Kosovo, and said this was a provocation "aimed at dissuading the Serbs from going to the polls." Vulin told the newspaper that Pristina was "in every way trying to provoke a boycott of the elections." According to him, the fact Srecko Spasic, a candidate of the Civic Initiative Srpska in Klokot, was detained was aimed at intimidating the Serbs, as was the detaining of leaders of the Vitina municipality.. Belgrade expects an agreement on freedom of movement reached earlier to be respected, and that Aleksandar Vucic and Vulin will be able to go to Kosovo on October 31, writes the daily. Kosovo Interior Minister Bajram Rexhepi said on Sunday that Vucic was not banned from entering Kosovo, and that "Vulin knows what awaits him if it comes to Kosovo."
