KOSOVSKA MITROVICA An explosive device was detonated in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica early on Friday morning. No one was injured in the incident, but "substantial material damage" was reported. Another explosion in northern Kosovska Mitrovica Three stores were damaged in the explosion. The Kosovo police arrived and began investigating the site. "It is still to be determined which type of explosive was used," Regional Chief of Operations at the Kosovo Police Zeljko Bojic told Tanjug. The perpetrators targeted a fast food restaurant, owned by Djordje Kostic. A café and a betting parlor were also damaged in the blast. Several days ago, an explosive device was planted on the window of an apartment in Kosovska Mitrovica, belonging to Nebojsa Maric. Maric is a candidate for councilor on the electoral list of the Independent Liberal Party, which participates in the government in Pristina.
