Belgrade University on Taiwan List, "best in region"
The University of Belgrade made it to the Taiwan list of top world universities and claimed the 339th position in the competition of around 600 universities.

BELGRADE The University of Belgrade made it to the Taiwan list of top world universities and claimed the 339th position in the competition of around 600 universities. The school, founded in 1808, thus "left behind all universities in the region," Tanjug is reporting. Among European universities, Belgrade University occupies the 27th place, while it holds the 100th place in the world according to results achieved in mathematics, Rector Vladimir Bumbasirevic told the University Council. This year it improved its ranking on the Shanghai List of 500 top universities as well, and claimed the leading position among the regional universities.
