The boy and his mother claim that the incident was ethnically motivated. Other passengers in the bus alerted the police, but the attacker escaped before the police and the boy's mother arrived, said the report. "It happened to my child this time, but tomorrow it could happen to another child," the mother was quoted as saying, and demanding that the attacker be found and punished.
