"No hidden agendas" between Serbia and Montenegro

PODGORICA The relations between Serbia and Montenegro "are on the rise and the two countries are committed to enhancement of cooperation on EU integration and economy." This is according to Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic and his Montenegrin counterpart Milo Djukanovic. The two prime ministers met on Friday in Podgorica. "No hidden agendas" between Serbia and Montenegro At a news conference following the meeting, Dacic said that the two nations share closest ties and that therefore the two countries should nurture closest friendly relations. He added that "Belgrade does not have hidden agendas concerning Podgorica, nor does Podgorica have such intentions when it comes to Belgrade." According to Dacic, the two countries are committed to cooperation in terms of European integration. Djukanovic and Dacic underscored the necessity for setting up a payment system between the two countries and solving the problem of dual citizenship. “Our relations are on the rise and we can be satisfied with their intensity and quality. We agreed that good relations have been set up in more or less all sectors. The talks did not focus on problems, because problems are fewer, to mutual satisfaction,” Djukanovic said. According to him, the talks with Dacic primarily focused on development prospects. The prime ministers expressed satisfaction with the cooperation between the two police services in the fight against organised crime and corruption, and underscored the importance of cooperation in the betterment of the everyday life, enhancement of transport infrastructure and joint presentation on third markets. During his official one-day visit to Montenegro, Dacic was welcomed in Podgorica with highest state and military honors. After the meeting with Djukanovic, Dacic will confer with Montenegrin President Filip Vujanovic and parliament speaker Ranko Krivokapic. Tanjug

According to Dačić, the two countries are committed to cooperation in terms of European integration.
