BELGRADE Ivica Dacic is visiting the U.S. on Monday where he is attending the opening of a U.S.-Serbian business forum, the government announced. The forum is taking place under the name, "Invest in Serbia - New Orleans 2013." Dacic travels to U.S., attends business forum During the visit, Dacic will meet with Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, Police Chief Michael Edmondson, New Orleans Mayor Mitchell Landrieu and New Orleans Chief of Police Ronal Serpas, the statement says. Dacic will also meet with officials of the companies Freeport-McMoRan Copper and Gold Inc and Chevron's North America Exploration & Production, the government added. Ahead of his trip, Dacic told RTS: "It is certain that the most important companies are there - Chevron, which was interested in investing in our country, then General Electric, and especially important is Freeport, which is already working in Serbia on exploration of ore." During the visit, Dačić will meet with Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, Police Chief Michael Edmondson, New Orleans Mayor Mitchell Landrieu and New Orleans Chief of Police Ronal Serpas, the statement says.

Dačić will also meet with officials of the companies Freeport-McMoRan Copper and Gold Inc and Chevron's North America Exploration & Production, the government added.
