BELGRADE Bilateral relations between Serbia and the U.S. are on the rise, a meeting in Belgrade between officials of the two countries concluded. Prime Minister Ivica Dacic and Jonathan Moore, director of the Office of South-Central European Affairs of the U.S. Department of State, also noted on Wednesday that it is "realistic to expect that the U.S. will become the greatest investor in our country." Dacic, his cabinet, "have full support of U.S." The U.S. is offering full support to the Serbian government and Prime Minister Dacic in the process of the EU integration and the resolution of issues in Kosovo, Moore underlined, according to a Tanjug report. He said that the upcoming period will be marked by strengthening of the economic cooperation, primarily investments by the U.S. companies in the Serbian economy. It was stated that this year Serbia's export to the U.S. increased by 70 percent, and it is realistic that the U.S. will become the greatest investor in Serbia, reads the statement by the Serbian government's press office. The Serbian government is seriously implementing the Brussels agreement between Belgrade and Pristina and carrying out comprehensive preparations for the local elections in Kosovo and Metohija, the prime minister said.
