BELGRADE - Vice President of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) Slavica Djukic Dejanovic stated that this government is headed by Prime Minister Ivica Dacic. Minister of Healthcare and Vice President of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) Slavica Djukic Dejanovic stated that this is the government headed by Prime Minister Ivica Dacic but she also agreed with the statement that the government would be headed by Dacic and Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic together. Djukic Dejanovic: This is Dacic's Government Dacic and Vucic discussed the office of the prime minister and Vucic firmly believes that Dacic, whom the president granted the mandate, should head the government, and this is Dacic's government, Djukic Dejanovic said in an interview for the Belgrade-based weekly NIN, adding that if Dacic is not the prime minister, then new elections would be staged. Vucic is currently the most popular political figure in Serbia and he is heading the biggest party, and if Dacic were to head the government all by himself without daily consultations on the most important issues, it would be ignoring reality, she said. According to her, Dacic decided to share the responsibility for moves with someone who has a good rating and citizens' trust. Djukic Dejanovic renounced any idea of divisions in the party and noted that everyone has the right to think out loud, but when the stand in party bodies is assumed, then this becomes the stand of all and there are no more dilemmas. The aim of the reshuffle is better efficiency in the segment where not enough work has been done, primarily in terms of economic development and finance, Djukic Dejanovic said and added that the reshuffle was not forced and was imposed as the goal by the government itself.
