GORA/GLOBOCICA - Aleksandar Vulin, the head of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo, says the Kosovo bonus will not be abolished. After attending a celebration of Eid al-Fitr in the Gora municipality in southern Kosovo, Vulin said the Serbian government has passed a conclusion on the temporary bonus at a session today. Vulin: Kosovo bonus will not be abolished "None of the bonuses will be abolished and benefits will not be curbed," said Vulin. On August 6, several hundred workers of socially-owned companies in the north Kosovo municipality of Leposavic blocked the Raska-Mitrovica road in the vicinity of the Jarinje crossing point for two hours in a protest over unpaid Kosovo bonuses and other social problems. The workers demanded payment of seven unpaid installments for 2013, asking that people removed from the recipients after leaving Kosovo be put back on the list, and that retired workers be replaced by new ones.
