BELGRADE - Rasim Ljajic, Serbian Minister of Trade and Telecommunications, says Belgrade and Pristina have yet reached an agreement on telecommunications. "We are waiting for the EU and Pristina to respond to our latest proposal, which is a compromise between our and their position to date," Ljajic told Tanjug. Veljko Odalovic, the Serbian government's secretary general, said Thursday that the Serbian operator built a competitive telecommunications network in Kosovo. He stressed the infrastructure is the property of Serbian citizens and that the government must not allow Kosovo to obtain a calling code in this manner for the sole purpose of promoting its independence.
