Belgrade - the Republic Broadcasting Agency (RRA) should vote today on awarding the national license of the former TV Avala. The Council assessed in the meeting on Wednesday, when the first decision was announced, that there was the need to additionally analyze documents that two candidates, TV Nova and TV World Copernicus plus 3 had enclosed. RRA announced yesterday the winners of the license for the regional radio and television broadcasting. The session of the Council, at which the members of that body will vote in secret, is scheduled for 11 a.m., and the two candidates for the frequency are the televisions "Nova" and "Copernicus World Plus 3". Deputy Chairman of the RDA Goran Karadzic explained to Radio B92 what the voting will look like. "At the meeting on Wednesday we made the decision to vote secretly on that frequency, so that at the meeting, if there is no need for a new discussion, as we brought discussion on this matter to the end, ballots will simply be distributed on which the names of both must be competitors written, as the documentation they submitted was complete and it was submitted in a timely manner. Then the members of the council will perform a secret voting. The commission appointed by and formed out of the Council members will count the ballots and notify the Council about the outcome of the vote. In order to obtain the frequency it is necessary that one of the competitors gets 5 votes, and in case no one gets the required majority, then this license will not be assigned, "Karadzic said.
