BELGRADE - There will be no interruption or discontinuity in the work of the government. The Government continues working as usual, although certain personnel changes would be made, Secretary General of the Serbian government Veljko Odalovic said today. Odalovic: Government working as usual The agreement of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) leader, Aleksandar Vucic and the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) leader Ivica Dacic, with their coalition partners will be of crucial importance for the appointment of new government members, Odalovic told to the Radio Television of Serbia. According to his words, the government reshuffle should be completed in the next two weeks and the parliament should note down the resignations of outgoing ministers at its session in late August, when it would also adopt the amendments to the Law on Ministries. During the talks on the new composition of the cabinets, coalition partners will discuss the need for dividing certain ministries in two and merging some others, and talk about whether a transfer of powers should be carried out, and afterwards new ministers would be appointed, Odalovic said. He noted that the government will continue working normally until that point, and there will be no discontinuity, as well as the ministries which will get new heads in September, ‘whereas the ministers who may no longer be ministers at the time will do their job in a responsible way until then’’, added Odalovic.
