BELGRADE - Serbia's Minister of Trade and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic has said that the talks on telecommunications will be held on Wednesday. Ljajic said that the talks between Belgrade and Pristina should result on Wednesday in a compromise regarding the telecommunications issue. Ljajic: Talks on telecommunications on Wednesday "There will be no more negotiations, no new talks, because Thursday is the deadline when we should state our view about the most recent proposition put on the table," he told TV Pink. "If there is an agreement on energy and telecommunications, then the prime ministers of Serbia and Kosovo will meet in Brussels on August 27," he said. "Otherwise, there will be no meeting on August 27, so it would be important to achieve this agreement," Ljajic pointed out. Pristina is taking advantage of the fact that it is important to Belgrade for the accession talks with the EU start in January and is trying to force it into making concessions, he stressed. "However, there are red lines in all things that we cannot drop below, regardless of some political consequences,"Ljajic underscored, adding that Serbia had to protect its interest. /Tanjug, file/ Tanjug
