BELGRADE Aleksandar Vucic said late on Monday that "parties have to evaluate the work of their ministers in the scope of government reshuffle." The first deputy prime minister and leader of the Serb Progressive Party (SNS) told RTS that his party will make "a final decision on its ministers" at a session of the SNS main board on Friday. "Parties should evaluate work of their ministers" The same decisions should also be made by other ruling parties by the end of the week. Leader of the United Regions of Serbia (URS) and Economy and Finance Minister Mladjan Dinkic said on Sunday that his party is willing to replace its ministers only if the coalition partners present a reasoned position on their work. Vucic stated that it depends on the URS whether it will stay in the government, while the SNS will say what it thinks about their attitude towards the coalition partners and the Serbian government. Vucic also pointed out that the reshuffle will be serious and thorough and that the criteria for personnel changes in the government will be objective, adding he does not expect that all dismissed ministers will agree with that. The ruling coalition in Serbia is composed of the SNS, the Socialist Party of Serbia and the URS. Meanwhile, Mladjan Dinkic cancelled his appointments at the Tax Administration and on the creation of the law on funding the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina because of the government reshuffle. His ministry stated on Monday he was cancelling his meetings because of the talks on the reshuffle, but no other details were revealed. (Beta, file) Tanjug
