The court found that on March 2, 2012 in Belgrade, Bojanic had 1.12 permilles of alcohol in his blood when he drove a BWM aggressively, speeding to 130 kmph in a 60-kmph zone without stopping at red lights, and caused the traffic accident by colliding with a Yugo car. The victims were sisters Milena (28) and Ljiljana (24) Rusov, and their friend Jadranka Jovic (23), who all traveled in the car. The driver of the Yugo into which the BMW crashed, 37-year-old Predrag Fustic, passed away from his injuries a month after the accident. The court said that a mitigating circumstance taken into account when passing the verdict was Bojanic's "relative youth," and his "previous life and family circumstances." The fact that his actions resulted in the death of four people was cited by the judges as "an aggravating circumstance." (Stock, file) Tanjug
