ZAGREB Croatian President Ivo Josipovic on Monday hosted a working breakfast for leaders of the countries of the region, which was attended by Tomislav Nikolic. The idea of an informal breakfast is a joint initiative of the presidents of Slovenia and Croatia, Ivo Josipovic and Borut Pahor, in order for two countries are promoters of regional cooperation. The aim is for leaders of the region and high officials of the EU to meet each year. The working Breakfast is an informal gathering, that does not display any state insignia. The leaders are gathered in Zagreb as Croatia is marking its accession to the EU. In addition to Josipovic, the breakfast was attended by the president of Serbia, Tomislav Nikolic, all three members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the president of Slovenia, Borut Pahor, President of Macedonian Gjorge Ivanov, Montenegrin President Filip Vujanovic, Albanian President Bujar Nishani, as well as Kosovo President Atifete Jahjaga. Serbian President Nikolic is visiting Croatia for the fist time since he was elected to that position, and this causes a lot of media attention. As pointed out immediately after his arrival in Zagreb, he was escorted to the city center by 13 security vehicles. The details of his arrival to the gala dinner where he was welcomed by President Josipovic and Croatian Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic have also been described in the local press, and the meeting was said to be cordial.
