A new round of Belgrade-Priština talks started in Brussels on Tuesday, with working groups set to tackle matters relating to the police and judiciary.

BRUSSELS A new round of Belgrade-Pristina talks started in Brussels on Tuesday, with working groups set to tackle matters relating to the police and judiciary. They will also discuss organization of local elections in the Serb municipalities in Kosovo. Belgrade and Pristina on police, judiciary, elections The Belgrade team arrived at the European External Action Service headquarters shortly after 10 am, where advisor to the Serbian president Marko Djuric, implementation coordinator Aleksandar Vulin, and Justice Minister Nikola Selakovic will join them later in the day. During Monday's round of talks on telecommunications and electric energy, the two sides failed to reach agreement on an international calling code for Kosovo and licenses for Serbian mobile network operators in northern Kosovo, as well as electric power supply to the Serb municipalities. Still, both sides expressed hope that the issues will be resolved by Thursday when Ivica Dacic and Hashim Thaci, will meet once again in Brussels at a working dinner hosted by Catherine Ashton. On Tuesday the Serbian government's negotiating team in charge of telecommunications emailed the EU headquarters in Brussels with a new proposal for resolving the only remaining open issue, out of the seven which were the subject of talks between Belgrade and Pristina, the Serbian Ministry of Trade and Telecommunications told Tanjug.
