BELGRADE Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic met with President of the World Football Association (FIFA) Joseph Blatter in Belgrade on Wednesday. They discussed the measures that Serbia is taking to combat violence at sports events. PM discusses combating violence with FIFA chief “Serbia has prepared a system of measures to combat violence in sports fields and we expect concrete results in a few months,” Dacic said. Blatter said that FIFA has called on all governments to get actively involved in combating violence. He informed the Serbian prime minister about the initiatives referring to the status of Kosovo's football organization and its inclusion in the international football associations. Prime Minister Dacic underlined that he stands for the development of sport, and reiterated Serbia's "principled stand on the participation of sports organizations from Kosovo and Metohija in international organizations."
