BELGRADE Days of Prague in Belgrade will be held from June 6-20 in organization of the capitals of Serbia and the Czech Republic, the organizers have announced. The event will start with the opening of a photo exhibition "Prague - City of Music" by famous Czech photographer Jiri Vsetecka displaying the atmosphere of the capital of Bohemia and the Czech Republic to the Belgrade audience. Days of Prague in Belgrade June 6-20 The exhibition will be held at the house of Serbian poet Djura Jaksic in the Belgrade Bohemian neighborhood Skadarlija. The Czech National Symphony Orchestra will hold a concert at the plateau in front of the Belgrade City Hall on June 7 performing themes from the greatest movies, and the guest will be Serbian ethno band Vrelo performing “Hair” from Milos Forman's movie. The best-known Serbian student of the Prague Film School, Emir Kusturica, and his band “No Smoking Orchestra” will perform a few pieces from the opera “Time of the Gypsies”. A mini retrospective of Oscar-winning Czech director Jiri Menzel, who had a great impact on Serbia's most renowned directors, will be held at Dom Omladine in Belgrade June 8-10.
