The Serbian government adopted on Tuesday a set of bills in the field of education, which will contribute to raising the quality and availability of education.

BELGRADE The Serbian government adopted on Tuesday a set of bills in the field of education, which will contribute to raising the quality and availability of education. The adopted bills include the bill on primary education, the bill on secondary education, the bill on adult education and the bill on amendments to the Law on the bases of the education system, it was stated after the government meeting. Serbian government adopts set of education bills After more than two decades, the Serbian government adopted the bills on primary and secondary education which regulate education at those levels and harmonize the system of primary and secondary education in Serbia with European trends in education, while keeping positive values of the Serbian society. The bill on adult education regulates the field of lifelong learning and for the first time, regulates the area of informal education. This bill will enable obtaining degrees throughout one’s whole life and will create conditions for recognition of diplomas acquired through informal education. These bills will improve the education structure of the population, employment conditions and will create opportunities for greater professional mobility. The adoption of these laws will help reduce poverty and improve the quality of life of individuals. At its session today, the Serbian government also adopted the Agreement between the Serbian Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development and the Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science. This document improves relations between the two countries in all spheres of education on the principle of equality and development of cooperation between organizations and institutions of education of the two countries. Serbian government adopts set of education bills

After more than two decades, the Serbian government adopted the bills on primary and secondary education which regulate education at those levels and harmonize the system of primary and secondary education in Serbia with European trends in education, while keeping positive values of the Serbian society.

The bill on adult education regulates the field of lifelong learning and for the first time, regulates the area of informal education.
