BELGRADE PM Ivica Dacic says he and Deputy PM Aleksandar Vucic will continue talks with the international community in order to get more guarantees for Kosovo Serbs. A government session at which a plan for the implementation of the Brussels agreement could be discussed will be held on Sunday afternoon. "We want additional guarantees for Kosovo Serbs" “It is very important to us that somebody does not accidentally interpret that things that we agree on have some meaning in the sense of the status issue. It is important to confirm that the agreements reached by Belgrade and Pristina are status-neutral, that they did not prejudge Kosovo’s future status and that the talks with representatives of the international community will continue. I have agreed with (EU High Representative) Catherine Ashton to speak to her on the phone before a possible government session, so I hope that we will clear up all disputable issues,” Dacic told B92. The prime minister said last week that the government could discuss the implementation plan on Friday or Saturday. Vucic said that Belgrade should first try to get additional guarantees for Kosovo Serbs regarding the key issues regarding the implementation of the Brussels agreement. Ivica Dacic (Beta, file) B92
