BRUSSELS New rounds of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue are expected with the mediation of EU's Catharine Ashton focusing on the implementation of the recent agreement. This was reported on Tuesday by the Tanjug news agency, who quoted its diplomatic sources in the EU seat. "Dialogue to continue, focus on implementation" "You were wrong to believe that the previous round of the talks between Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic and Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci involving Catherine Aston was the last one," a Brussels diplomat, who is informed about the development of the dialogue to date, told Tanjug. "Brussels is aware that the issue of the agreement's implementation is too complicated to be resolved at the level of working groups, and therefore it is necessary to continue the dialogue at a high political level," the diplomat said. After a meeting of the EU Council in Luxembourg during which the European Commission recommended the start of the EU accession talks with Serbia on Monday evening, Ashton indirectly confirmed this information by saying that she is still available to the participants in the dialogue. "I have offered to participate not only in the implementation, but also in the continuation of the dialogue," Ashton said at a press conference. Tanjug's source said that it is still early to talk when the first round of the dialogue on the implementation will be scheduled since the agreement should first be confirmed in both Belgrade and Pristina institutions, which is to be followed by a number of meetings at the expert level. There is still much to be done by June, the diplomat said, noting that the European Council, which should by then adopt the Commission's recommendation on the start of the talks with Serbia, will make a decision not only on the basis of the two sides' agreement, but also on what has been put in practice by the time.
