BELGRADE An agreement reached in Brussels is a maximum in given, very unfavorable circumstances but it does not mean a recognition of Kosovo. This is according to Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Rasim Ljajic. “Agreement does not mean recognition of Kosovo” He noted that a political struggle for the Serb community’s rights would continue. “Serbia has gotten an ‘instrument of a legal fight’ with this agreement in which an article that requested from Serbia not to block Kosovo’s membership in international organizations was changed,” Ljajic told daily Danas. According to him, those who criticize the agreement should ask themselves if “we could get something more in two or three years”. “Experience of Rambouillet and the Ahtisaari plan has taught us that each next proposal for Kosovo can be less favorable for Serbia,” Ljajic was quoted as saying.
