BRUSSELS, BELGRADE The Belgrade-Pristina dialogue on all important issues will continue even if no agreement on northern Kosovo is reached, EU officials told Beta news agency. The EU is waiting for a detailed and clear explanation of Belgrade and Pristina’s proposals for northern Kosovo in order to form a conclusion, Beta has reported. Dialogue will continue “even if no deal is reached” Some parts of the proposals offered by Belgrade and Pristina are too general and EU High Representative Catherine Ashton needs to get more precise explanations on Tuesday in order to form an opinion and a conclusion. The dialogue, including the future solving of powers for Serb municipalities in Kosovo, even if no agreement is reached on April 9, needs to continue in order to reach normalization of relations that will enable Belgrade and Pristina to speed up their EU integration processes, the EU officials explained. They added that it was necessary to continue the work on agreements that had already been reached and that efforts should be made in order to reach deals regarding the issue of telecommunication, energy and missing persons. Beta’s sources added that all important issues between Belgrade and Pristina would be discussed.
