BELGRADE Strong police forces are protecting the Croatian Embassy in downtown Belgrade ahead of the 2014 World Cup qualifying match between Serbia and Croatia. Most of them are wearing jerseys of the Croatian national team, some are singing songs but the atmosphere is rather calm. A large screen has been set up at Zagreb’s Ban Jelacic Square where all those who do not have the tickets will be able to watch the match.
