ZVECAN Kosovska Mitrovica District chief Radenko Nedeljkovic has expressed his satisfaction that the latest round of the Kosovo dialogue did not produce an agreement. According to him, Serbia in this way "showed it was abiding by its red lines". KM District head pleased there was no deal "I am pleased that our negotiating team has made a full stop, drew the red line, and did not accept further conditions and blackmail coming from the U.S. and EU," Nedeljkovic told Most TV from Zvecan, northern Kosovo. This official added that "the impression is that Belgrade yesterday definitely refused to sign an agreement on good neighborly relations between two sovereign states". "My impression is that the talks focused less on the association of Serb municipalities and its powers," he further stated, and noted, "it is clear that, after the visit of German MPs to Serbia, a clear message was sent that there would be no date (for the start of EU talks) and that Serbia was required to recognize Kosovo as a sovereign state". According to Nedeljkovic, Serbs from Kosovo are not taking part in the dialogue in Brussels because "parts of the resolution and platform determined by the Serbian parliament have been altered". The district chief reiterated that should the constitutional order continue to be violated in Kosovo and rights of Serbs and other non-Albanians jeopardized, Serbs in the north would use their constitutional and legal rights to form a provincial assembly and transfer sovereignty to the people, along with all lawmaking and executive powers.
