BELGRADE Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) deputy leader Igor Mirovic says the Main Board will hold a session in late March to discuss a possible government reshuffle. He added that the Progressives would also discuss an initiative for elections. Changes in government possible, SNS deputy leader says He noted that, "in principle," it was possible that there would be some changes in the highest government positions as well. “It is natural that we strive and want the leader of our party (Aleksandar Vucic) to become the prime minister in the foreseeable future, but there are also other factors we must agree on,” Mirovic told Tanjug. He added that no “spectacular” decision should be expected at the session of the party's main board, but that there may be some decisions that would mean "definite political orientation" of the SNS for the coming period. “The Main Board will discuss options for possible cabinet reshuffle or possible initiatives for some new elections in the foreseeable future, or for the assessment of the current government and its full continuity,” he explained. “The SNS Main Board will also discuss the current political situation in the country, primarily the developments related to the Serbian government's talks with Pristina's authorities with a "complex of issues mediated by the European Union," Mirovic concluded.
