“Those responsible for aflatoxin affair will have to answer”
Serbia’s First Deputy PM Aleksandar Vučić says that Agriculture Minister Goran Knežević will have to answer if he is responsible for the aflatoxin affair.

BELGRADE Serbia’s First Deputy PM Aleksandar Vucic says that Agriculture Minister Goran Knezevic will have to answer if he is responsible for the aflatoxin affair. He added that all other people responsible for the affair will also be held accountable. “Those responsible for aflatoxin affair will have to answer” “If it is somebody else’s fault, somebody else will answer, if it is Minister Knezevic’s fault, he will answer. And I am afraid that an initiator of such a dramatically irresponsible behavior certainly was not Minister Knezevic,” the deputy PM told daily Politika. He said that the most important thing right now was to determine whether health of Serbian citizens is at risk and what were the things that the government could and needed to do. “The point is that the competent organs will investigate everything. People’s health needs to be protected. On the other hand, we will clearly see who had what intentions and how they took part in the destruction of the Serbian agriculture, farmers and farming,” Vucic stressed. He said that damage has already been done thanks to actions of some political parties. “This is a complete destruction of livestock production in our country and now we will have a lot of trouble to get the livestock production and dairy industry back on their feet thanks to a truly disastrous irresponsibility,” Vucic concluded.
