BERLIN German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle will not be arriving here on Tuesday as previously announced. Westerwelle has canceled all his meetings scheduled through January 17 after he learned about the death of his father, reports said on Monday. German minister cancels visit due to family reasons The German minister was to hold meetings with Serbian officials and discuss "Serbia's EU integration, Kosovo, and bilateral ties", according to announcements. The visit was planned as part of a tour of the region, and would have come a week before Serbian First Deputy PM Aleksandar Vucic's trip to Berlin. It has been reported that Vucic should travel to Germany "in order to convince German officials and MPs to give the green light for the start of Serbia's accession talks with the EU".
