More than 20,000 protesters called for resignation of the country’s top politicians. Slovenian police use tear gas to disperse protesters The protesting Slovenians denied Prime Minister Janez Jansa’s allegations that the rally had been organized by left-wing elite that wanted to topple his government. They called on Ljubljana Mayor Zoran Jankovic and MPs to step down. Around 12,000 citizens rallied in Ljubljana earlier on Friday to support the prime minister and his government. The rally was peaceful and Jansa thanked the participants “for coming and showing they care about their homeland”. He stressed that they should stand up to the “leftist fascism”. Slovenian police use tear gas to disperse protesters

The protesting Slovenians denied Prime Minister Janez Janša’s allegations that the rally had been organized by left-wing elite that wanted to topple his government. They called on Ljubljana Mayor Zoran Janković and MPs to step down.

Around 12,000 citizens rallied in Ljubljana earlier on Friday to support the prime minister and his government. The rally was peaceful and Janša thanked the participants “for coming and showing they care about their homeland”.
