21 persons indicted for abuses in Agrobanka

The Organized Crime Prosecution has indicted former Agrobanka Board of Directors President Dušan Antonić and another 20 persons for abuses in the bank.

BELGRADE The Organized Crime Prosecution has indicted former Agrobanka Board of Directors President Dusan Antonic and another 20 persons for abuses in the bank. The investigation against Habitpharm owner Radoslav Sekulic has been suspended. 21 persons indicted for abuses in Agrobanka “The investigation against Sekulic has been suspended because court experts stated that he cannot take part in the criminal proceedings due to his poor health,” Organized Crime Prosecutor Miljko Radisavljevic said and added that a the suspect would soon be examined again so the investigation could be completed. Aside from Antonic, the prosecutors also indicted Slavoljub Koricanac, Bojan Zaric, Boban Labovic, Vehbo Papic, Dusko Sekulic, Dragomir Jovanovic, Borka Filipovic, Nenad Maricic, Snezana Paunovic, Dragovan Milinkovic, Milos Markovic, Dusko Sunjevaric, Bratislav Mihajlovic, Branimir Uzelac, Saud Hasovic, Slobodan Ratkovic, Milos Uzelac, Milan Antonic, Zvezdan Damjanovic and Stojan Stojanov. Radisavljevic said that they are charged with illegal granting of loans and bank guarantees to Habitpharm, Swiss farmacija, Swiss Intermedical, Product trade finance, Western Style, Mercury International, Luton, Novi dani, Hed Komerc and Drina Timber. The indictees therefore committed abuse of office and illegally obtained RSD 5.7bn. The Organized Crime Prosecution proposed after the indictment had been raised to extend custody for Antonic, Slavoljub Koricanac, Zaric, Jovanovic, Branimir Uzelac and Dusko Sekulic. (file) B92
