ZVECAN Kosovo Serbs set up roadblocks on a road leading to the Jarinje crossing in the village of Rudare near Zvecan on Thursday. They blocked the road in order to prevent Kosovo customs and border police officers from getting to the administrative crossing. Kosovo Serbs block roads near crossing The Kosovska Mitrovica-Ribaric road in Zubin Potok is also blocked. Traffic has not been completely blocked but vehicles are moving slowly due to large concrete blocks that Serbs placed on the road in Rudare. The protesting citizens told Tanjug that they would not allow Kosovo border police and customs vehicles, that were supposed to travel from Pristina to Jarinje, to go through. Kosovo Serbs say they are respecting earlier decisions of their municipal assemblies, stressing that they do not want customs to be established at the Jarinje and Brnjak crossings in northern Kosovo.
