PRISTINA A special fund for the development of the north, to which money from customs and taxes collected at the Brnjak and Jarinje crossings will go, has been formed. Kosovo PM Hashim Thaci has said that the money going into the Fund will be a part of the Kosovo budget. The Fund will be managed by a three-member board that will consist of a Serb, Albanian and an international representative. The Serbian authorities have stated that no decision will be made without a consent of the Serb representative. “Decisions on capital investments and infrastructure will be made through consensus and if that is not possible, a vote of the international representative will be decisive,” Thaci said.
