MOSCOW Extremely low temperatures have been measured in the far east regions of Russia, resulting in the deaths of several people. The temperatures there range from minus 40 to minus 50 degrees centigrade. Russia's far east regions report minus 50 degrees Several elderly people froze to death in the town of Khabarovsk.
