KOSOVSKA MITROVICA One passenger vehicle was set ablaze, and the other damaged by gunfire in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica early on Tuesday. Regional Spokesman of the Kosovo police Besim Hoti told Tanjug that unidentified people set on fire a vehicle belonging to a Kosovo Serb, a member of the Kosovo police, around 02:10 CET on Tuesday. According to Hoti, the vehicle was damaged by gunfire, a rear window smashed, and one bullet ended above the petrol tank. Kosovo policemen searched the scenes and launched an investigation into the incidents, the police spokesman said. Car arson attacks became a common occurrence in Kosovska Mitrovica.
