BELGRADE Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic has said that nobody will sell Kosovo but that it has been snatched away from Serbia and that it is up to it to get it back. “Nobody will give Kosovo back to us if we say ‘we do not want to join the EU’. We have managed to return to the negotiating table and it would be completely wrong to leave it now,” he pointed out on Sunday. PM Dacic says "Kosovo was stolen from Serbia" Dacic said that Serbia was on the EU pathway and that “this is our decision because it is good for Serbian citizens”. “I do not need anyone to tell me what our interests are because I have the experience and I can remember how people stood in lines for bread and milk, what the situation was like in the beginning of the war and what it was like when it ended,” the prime minister stressed. “By comparing the issue of Kosovo with existential issues we violate both issues. Nobody will sell Kosovo for sure, but it has been taken away from us and we need to keep it,” Dacic underscored. He added that good relations with Russia were the country’s priority but that they still needed to be strengthened and built further.
