Serbians think that the government had the right idea during its first 100 days in office and that its biggest success was curbing crime and corruption.

BELGRADE Serbians think that the government had the right idea during its first 100 days in office and that its biggest success was curbing crime and corruption. This is according to the results of a November 6 survey conducted by the Faktor Plus agency, Beta news agency reported on Wednesday. New poll shows Serbians like anti-corruption push The survey was taken on a sample of 1,150 people at the end of October and start of November, and the results reveal that 31 percent of citizens support the Cabinet in part, 27 percent support it fully, while 30 percent do not support the cabinet at all. A total of 38 percent of the respondents said the cabinet is going in the right direction, while 26 percent believe that the cabinet is doing a bad job. Three-fourth of those who participated in the survey think the government's biggest successes so far have been cracking down on crime and corruption. Citizens also said that the government had done the least in the area of ensuring good salaries and fair competition on the market. Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic was voted the cabinet's best-liked figure (4, on a scale of 1-5), followed by Prime Minister Ivica Dacic (3.5), Jovan Krkobabic (3.1) and Goran Knezevic and Mladjan Dinkic (3 each). A total of 45 of those polled said they believe the cabinet is stable, while eight percent said that they thought that it could collapse soon. The poll showed that the ruling Serb Progressive Party is the country's strongest party with 32.6 percent support, followed by the opposition Democratic Party with 17.3 percent and the ruling Socialist Party of Serbia - Party of United Pensioners of Serbia - United Serbia Party coalition with 14.2 percent. The opposition Democratic Party of Serbia would win 7.4 percent if elections were held now, the ruling United Regions of Serbia (6.5 percent), the opposition Liberal Democratic Party (5.3 percent), followed by minority parties with four percent and the Serbian Radical Party with 1.6 percent.
