Progressives elect new leader, deputy leader
The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) elected Aleksandar Vučić as a new party leader and Jorgovanka Tabaković as his deputy at an Assembly session on Saturday.

BELGRADE The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) elected Aleksandar Vucic as a new party leader and Jorgovanka Tabakovic as his deputy at an Assembly session on Saturday. The session began at 11:00 CET in Belgrade. Around 4,000 delegates will vote on the proposals and candidates. The new SNS leader said that the party faced a great responsibility and that it would lead Serbia in the next decade, pointing to an incredible success of the SNS in just four years. “We will have to change and improve in order to be able to do it successfully,” Vucic said and stressed that the SNS leadership would be changed and that young people would hold the top positions.
