The EU representative in Serbia says Brussels "is not making any new conditions" in order for the country to be given a date for the start of membership talks.

BELGRADE The EU representative in Serbia says Brussels "is not making any new conditions" in order for the country to be given a date for the start of membership talks. Vincent Degert spoke during a break in an EU-financed conference on cross-border cooperation to explain that the EU was insisting on "normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina", while leaving it to the two sides "to define the framework of their cooperation".
