CACAK First Deputy PM and Defense Minister Aleksandar Vucic said on the eve of his visit to Berlin that Germany was Serbia's important political and economic partner. Without it, Serbia's EU accession and further development cannot be imagined, said Vucic. "Germany is Serbia's important partner" The visit, which will be realized at the initiative of Germany, will be an opportunity to discuss wide range of topics, including Kosovo and both countries' economic gains from investments in Serbia's energy system, the fight against corruption and all key political issues, Vucic told the press in Cacak. "This will be a high level visit, but we cannot brag about that because it means we will have very many obligations and things that we will have to do in the coming period," reporters quoted him as saying. Vucic and Energy Minister Zorana Mihajlovic will on Monday in Berlin sign a memorandum of understanding and strategic partnership between Germany's energy concern RWE and Serbia's state-run power monopoly EPS. While in Germany, Vucic will meet with German Vice Chancellor and Federal Minister of Economy and Technology Philipp Roesler, Minister of Economic Cooperation and Development Dirk Niebel, Foreign Affairs Advisor of the Chancellor Angela Merkel, Christoph Heusgen and State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Emily Haber.
