MOSCOW Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with his Serbian counterpart Tomislav Nikolic in Sochi on September 11, it was been announced. Nikolic will pay a working visit to Russia at the invitation of the Russian president, the Russian presidential press service reported on Tuesday. Putin, Nikolic to meet on September 11 in Sochi During upcoming talks, the presidents intend to discuss the ways for making bilateral relations deeper on all guidelines of cooperation, particularly in such priority trends as the fuel and energy sector, including the implementation of the strategic gas project South Stream, trade and economy, Russian agency Itar-Tass reports. Russia is one of leading trade and investment partners for Serbia. The bilateral trade reached more than two billion dollars in 2011, increasing by 42.5 percent against 2010. From 2003 to 2011 Russian aggregate investments in Serbian economy exceeded 1.5 billion dollars.
