PRISTINA Kosovo President Atifeta Jahjaga has said that Pristina is ready to resume its dialogue with Belgrade. She added that she could meet with Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic only as a legitimate representative of Kosovo. Pristina ready to resume talks, Kosovo president says "Only as legal and legitimate leaders of our countries, expressing the will of our citizens, we can talk and find sustainable and long-lasting solutions, which are in the benefit of our citizens," she said. She told CorD Magazine she welcomed the statements by Serbia's new government that it would implement all the agreements reached in Brussels. "This is good news, since Kosovo has implemented all agreements reached in Brussels from day one and, yes, this is long awaited good news from Serbia," said Jahjaga. She thinks Serbia has so far obstructed the implementation of the agreements reached in the talks between Belgrade and Pristina by claiming that they are not specific enough. "We have asked the EU to find the format and mechanisms that would oblige the countries to implement every detail of the agreements they consented to in Brussels. I have stated that there is no other way, no alternative to normalizing relations between Kosovo and Serbia than through dialogue," Jahjaga noted. “Pristina is ready to continue the talks in Brussels and be honest and responsible in implementing everything agreed,” she stressed. "Implementation is the evidence that we treat the dialogue seriously and that we are interested in sustainable solutions. The level of representation in the dialogue is of no importance," the Kosovo president pointed out. “Belgrade is expected to not set any requirements related to the bodies of those who ended up in mass graves, to punish those criminals who killed and massacred, burned and destroyed in Kosovo and who have now found refuge in Serbia and to return all the stolen artifacts from Kosovo sent to Serbia," Jahjaga stated.
