Serbia’s Đoković through to Cincinnati Masters semis

Serbian tennis player Novak Đoković qualified for the Cincinnati Masters semifinal as he defeated Croatia’s Marin Čilić in the quarterfinal match on Friday.

CINCINNATI Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic qualified for the Cincinnati Masters semifinal as he defeated Croatia’s Marin Cilic in the quarterfinal match on Friday. The world's second-ranked tennis player scored his seventh victory against Cilic out of the seven matches they played. Serbia’s Djokovic through to Cincinnati Masters semis In the fight for the final on Saturday, Djokovic will play against Argentina's Juan Martin del Potro who defeated French player Jeremy Chardy on Friday (6-1, 6-3). Djokovic was defeated by del Potro in the London Olympics in the fight for the bronze medal. So far, Djokovic and del Potro played against each other six times, and in addition to the match in London, the Argentinean player won the match at the 2011 Davis Cup in Belgrade, when Djokovic was forced to withdraw from the match due to an injury. In the fight for the final on Saturday, Đoković will play against Argentina's Juan Martin del Potro who defeated French player Jeremy Chardy on Friday (6-1, 6-3).
