JARINJE Northern Kosovo Serbs continue to block the Raska-Leposavic road that leads to the Jarinje administrative crossing. They are preventing trucks carrying goods from using the road. N. Kosovo Serbs continue to block road near crossing Tanjug has learnt that ten trucks are parked in the cross-border zone in central Serbia. The Serbs are keeping 24-hour watch at the road. They are also present on the road in Leposavic but there are not any roadblocks there. They set up the roadblock preventing freight traffic late last month. They believe that transport of commercial goods is just another attempt to establish the Pristina institutions in the north. Leposavic Mayor Dragisa Vasic said earlier that this was the citizens’ way of expressing disagreement with Pristina’s plans to integrate northern Kosovo and complete its independence.
