BELGRADE Jasmina Mitrovic-Maric has been appointed adviser to Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic,, it was published in the Official Gazette. Mitrovic-Maric was appointed to the office of the president as of August 1, 2012. New adviser to Serbian president appointed Mitrovic-Maric was a reporter of the former BK TV television outlet and was a candidate for mayor of Belgrade in 2004. In those elections, she participated as candidate of the Serbian Strength Movement led by now fugitive businessman Bogoljub Karic. Karic was also the owner of BK TV.
