Defense minister: Serbia will be safe country

BELGRADE Serbian Deputy PM and Defense Minister Aleksandar Vucic said on Friday that Serbia would be a safe country. He added that the goal of everybody in the government was to make changes. Defense minister: Serbia will be safe country Together with new Prime Minister Ivica Dacic and Finance and Economy Minister Mladjan Dinkic, Vucic told reporters that the citizens had voted for changes. “If we can do it, then it will be a big deal for our country. If we do not make it, then some new people will have to, they will have to replace us because Serbia cannot and must not continue down the same, equally bad road,” he stressed. Vucic once again repeated that the combat against corruption and crime would “start from the top”. “Serbia will be a safe country and the combat against crime and corruption will go from the top and not from those who are less guilty so we do not wait long for those who are the biggest culprits for everything that happened to us,” he said in his first media address as a deputy prime minister and defense minister.
