“Citizens are government’s top priority”

BELGRADE Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) deputy whip Jorgovanka Tabakovic has stated that the parliamentary majority is ready to take care of the Serbian people. She stressed that this was the government’s top priority. “Citizens are government’s top priority” Tabakovic added that the ruling majority gathered thanks to the difficult and serious job that others were not prepared to do or maybe forgot to talk to the people. She noted that the SNS was not only ready take the responsibility but it also showed it was ready to form the government with the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) and United Regions of Serbia (URS). “There is no the development or saving dilemma, but a development based on saving. Those are two inseparable things,” the SNS official said commenting on PM-Designate Ivica Dacic’s expose. According to her, this is the government that expected the people to call it their own. “This is a message for the government, that people need to see it as their own and that it needs to solve problems,” Tabakovic said and pointed out that the government needed to be aware that citizens had placed their future and future of their children in its hands. She stressed that the government needed to be worthy of the job it took, that the parliamentary majority needed to be proud of it and that that it needed to support the people.
