Parliament to have 19 committees
The new convocation of the Serbian parliament will have 19 committees instead of previous 30.

BELGRADE The new convocation of the Serbian parliament will have 19 committees instead of previous 30. MPs will choose members of the committees on Monday, after choosing parliament speaker and deputy speakers. Parliament to have 19 committees Each committee will have 17 members except for the Committee on Control of Security Services which will have only nine members. Instead of the Administrative Committee, the Committee for Administrative-Budget and Mandate-Immunity Affairs will be formed. The Committee for Children’s Rights will also be formed as a permanent body and it will be headed by the parliament speaker. Candidates for members and deputies in parliamentary committees will be nominated by MP groups in accordance with the number of seats they have in parliament. According to the Rule of Procedure, one MP can be member of several committees.
