They also visited the University Children's Clinic in Tirsova St. and delivered new equipment, secured during the "Battle for the Babies" humanitarian campaign. B92 Fund expands its humanitarian campaign The KIBID company donated a reanimation table with laryngoscope to the GAK clinic, whose director, Professor Doctor Aleksandar Ljubic thanked the donor, and also spoke to B92 Fund Managing Board Director Veran Matic, addressing the campaign's results thus far and expressing his hope for the success of the upcoming campaign, dubbed "Battle for Maternity Hospitals". The Children's Clinic received four new baby incubators and one reanimation table. Two incubators were secured through the donation of businesman Milan Popovic while IDEA and the Golf Association of Serbia donated funds for one machine each. The reanimation table was donated by the International Women's Club. Clinic Director Professor Doctor Ida Jovanovic thanked everyone who took part in the campaign, securing better conditions for prematurely born children. Veran Matic toured the ICU of the clinic accompanied by Dr. Jovanovic, to stress that, along with delivering the remaining incubators, the campaign will continue to secure other equipment in short supply at health-care institutions for children: "The Battle for Maternity Hospitals has effectively started even before it was officially launched. As soon as we decided on a new step in the Year of the Babies, we started animating potential donors to join us and contribute to the battle to secure better conditions in our maternity wards. More than 50 reanimation tables need to be bought, as many photo-therapy lamps, 80 pulse oximeters, 24 neonatal aspirators, and over 70 vital functions monitors. Most maternity wards in Serbia need new obstetric tables, and beds for healthy newborns. At the same time, there is a shortage of elementary equipment such as mattresses, linen, diapers, and so on. It is certainly necessary to solve these needs through this great battle." The reanimation table donated to GAK B92
