Serbs from north ask to meet with president “It is time to tell people the truth, for Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic to receive us and to tell the people the truth, what was negotiated in Brussels, that the people are kept in a ghetto, surrounded by barbed wires, in isolation,” he stressed. “We cannot keep them all under control. You always have individuals who cannot take everything and we are afraid that new incidents may happen,” Milovic explained. He added that had spoken to KFOR representatives in charge of the today’s operation and that he had told them that the issue should have been resolved through talks. “We are ready for new talks. I told them that it would have been better if we talked, for days if necessary, than to destroy the hard earned trust with the operation,” the Zvecan mayor pointed out. He noted that he told the KFOR representatives that not a single barricade was worth losing a single life and that KFOR operations were destroying the citizens’ trust in the Mission.
